Weekend in Pictures

It was a busy one! Here's a recap:

10 Butterflies hatched

This cutie is crawling everywhere

This cutie is rolling her way across the room

2 birthday parties

Palm Sunday fun (bonus: no one got hurt on the fronds!)

Youth group donut fundraiser

This big guy ran a race and won his age group

And this big guy dunked the basketball so hard it came back and hit him in the mouth, knocking his loose tooth right into his hand!

We also had the first Northside Rockies game of the season- that got it's own post :)

Throw in a lot of NCAA basketball and a Badger victory, and this weekend was darn near perfect.

2015 Rockies

It's the start of baseball season in Virginia! Mike's coaching again, and both Evan and Drew are on the same team. It really is wonderful to see the three guys play together. Today was their first game, and we all watched, even though it was a chilly 36* outside. Drew did GREAT in his first game ever, and Evan rocked being an experienced leader on the team. The league is counting outs at this advanced level, which is new for us, but our whole team was amazing - they only got tagged out once in the whole 4-inning game! This is going to be a really fun season. Go Rockies!

He hit it to the outfield every time. Power hitter!

 Drew's first at-bat ever!

 Super proud!
 Drew's first score!
Evan is amazing at 1st base.
The little super-fans were there, even though they froze.
Go Rockies!

New stroller

The littles took their first ride in the new stroller today! They loved being able to sit up and see everything, and to hold hands. Momma loved being hands free for a bit!

Little Fish

These two little fish completed their swim lessons today! Momma is bursting with pride at seeing how well they've done and how much fun they've had. Bring on the pool this summer!

Cobras

Evan's had a fantastic season playing basketball in the Upward league Cobras. His skill has really improved (good job, Coach Dad!), and he's showing great sportsmanship to his teammates and opponents. Even though the kindergarten level doesn't officially keep score, the kids definitely do, and they're pretty sure we rocked each game. Thanks to other parents and siblings, Drew always had someone to play with/distract him, and the babies were never without a willing set of arms. We're definitely looking forward to next year! I didn't take a ton of photos or video, but was lucky to capture some great moments when I did. Happily, each game was pretty much filled with the same highlights from our #5! (Note the socks.)

Snowballs

Of course... A March snowstorm! It left us with about 9", so we did the only thing we could: built forts on either side of the driveway and armed ourselves. Game on!

7 months!

Where does time go? The twins are seven mo the old and growing fast. Adam is on the verge of crawling and both have their bottom two teeth popping through. Unbelievable!
