Lots of dinners out this week, at Charlottesville hotspots...
Bodo's Bagels for dinner - yum! Evan had "an egg and ham and cheese" bagel, and Drew just stuck with plain cream cheese. I think the bagel was almost as big as his head, but he made short work (and a bit of a mess) of it!
Pizza at Christians - half cheese and half pepperoni. Evan loves eating at the "pizza parlov," where he can people-watch and see them warm his dinner in the massive ovens.
Trips to the grocery store and Target were then in order, since we've apparently been out of food for the last two nights!
Evan loves to ride along and read or do puzzles on his Leap Pad, and is generally a fantastic grocery buddy. Except for when I have to relinquish half of the much-needed cart space to a 4 year old with long legs... he ends up getting packed in like a sardine, but never complains. Such is his intense game-focus. (Yes, I did put his coat over his legs for some insulation before essentially surrounding him with ice in the frozen food section, ha!.) And Buzz came along to Target, hanging out in front of the cart and watching for potential evil-doers. Hey, even Space Rangers need Target supplies sometimes!
